Participate in rounds, code responses, ventilator management, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher from an accredited NP or PA program with national certification (e.g., ANCC, PNCB, or NCCPA). Active Nebraska APRN or PA license, DEA registration, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care or cardiac experience preferred; new grads with strong pediatric rotations considered. Nebraska residency or willingness to relocate required. Skills: Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills in pediatric critical care; proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and cardiac pharmacology. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for patient/family interactions and team collaboration. Critical thinking, rapid decision-making under pressure, and familiarity with EHR systems like Epic. Commitment to evidence-based practice, empathy, and cultural competence in diverse pediatric populations.
