Job Overview: Phelps County Regional Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Nebraska, is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing. Provide counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications. Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. Current Nebraska state licensure as an NP or PA, with national certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family practice, or internal medicine preferred. Valid DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification required. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and current healthcare guidelines.
