Job Overview Physician Partners of America, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Hurst, TX clinic. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting physicians, and contributing to a patient-centered environment focused on wellness and recovery. Key Responsibilities As an LPN, you will administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and assist with procedures under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will perform routine assessments, dress wounds, collect samples for laboratory testing, and educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care. Documenting patient information accurately in electronic health records, maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery are essential daily tasks. Responding promptly to patient needs, triaging urgent cases, and promoting adherence to infection control protocols will also be core to your role. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a valid LPN license in the state of Texas, with graduation from an accredited practical nursing program. Current BLS certification is required, along with at least 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology is essential, as is the ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed. Skills Exceptional clinical skills including IV therapy, catheter insertion, and phlebotomy are highly valued. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with diverse patients, proficiency in EHR systems like Epic or Cerner, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient privacy under HIPAA guidelines are critical.
