Halter is seeking a dedicated Enterprise Sales Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives across Kansas and the surrounding plains region. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing relationships with large-scale agricultural operations, livestock producers, and agribusinesses to promote Halter's innovative virtual fencing technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying high-value prospects, conducting in-depth needs assessments, and delivering compelling presentations that highlight the value and efficiency of Halter's solutions. Working closely with internal teams, the Enterprise Sales Manager will develop customized proposals, negotiate complex contracts, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. This position requires a strong understanding of the agricultural industry, excellent communication abilities, and a track record of exceeding revenue targets in enterprise environments. The role involves extensive travel across the assigned territory to meet with customers, attend industry events, and conduct product demonstrations. Key responsibilities include developing and executing territory sales plans, building and maintaining long-term client relationships, collaborating with marketing and product teams to align offerings with customer needs, and providing accurate forecasting and pipeline management. The Enterprise Sales Manager will also serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or expansion. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the agricultural technology or livestock management sectors. Candidates must demonstrate proven success in managing complex sales cycles and closing large deals. Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms is required. Preferred skills include deep knowledge of the plains region agricultural market, experience with virtual fencing or precision livestock technology, and the ability to work independently while meeting aggressive targets.
