Harris Computer is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer to join our team in Idaho. This role focuses on building, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support public sector organizations, utilities, and government agencies across North America. The engineer will work closely with product managers, QA specialists, and business analysts to translate requirements into functional, scalable solutions while ensuring code quality and performance standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code in multiple programming languages, participating in code reviews, debugging issues, and deploying updates to production environments. The position also involves analyzing system requirements, designing technical specifications, and contributing to architectural decisions for new and existing products. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in software development using modern languages and frameworks. Candidates must possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
