Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly upon arrival and understand their needs to recommend the best products for their farming operations. Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, handle payments, and manage inventory restocking to ensure shelves are always fully stocked. Provide expert advice on product features, benefits, and usage, drawing on knowledge of agronomy, crop care, and farm machinery. Build lasting relationships with local farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals through follow-up calls, personalized service, and loyalty programs. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including merchandising displays that highlight seasonal promotions and new arrivals. Collaborate with team members and management to meet sales targets, analyze customer trends, and contribute ideas for improving store operations. Assist with special orders, deliveries, and promotional events to enhance the customer experience. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in agriculture, business, or related field preferred. At least 1-2 years of customer-facing sales experience, ideally in retail, agriculture, or hardware sectors. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly for stocking and handling products. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as occasional local deliveries may be required. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
