Active licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in South Dakota is required, along with national certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs). A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine is preferred. DEA registration and BLS certification are mandatory, with ACLS preferred.
