Oneida Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead weekend nursing operations at our skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara, California. This full-time leadership role requires an experienced RN who can oversee daily nursing activities, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional patient outcomes during weekend shifts. The RN Supervisor serves as the primary clinical authority on weekends, coordinating care delivery, addressing urgent situations, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an RN looking to advance into a supervisory role while maintaining direct patient care involvement. Key Responsibilities include overseeing all nursing staff during assigned weekend shifts, ensuring proper staffing levels and assignments, monitoring medication administration and treatment protocols, responding to emergencies and changes in patient conditions, conducting quality assurance audits, mentoring and coaching nursing personnel, maintaining accurate documentation and incident reports, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, addressing family concerns and complaints, and promoting a positive work environment focused on resident-centered care. Required Qualifications include a current, unrestricted California Registered Nurse license, a minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting, prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently during weekend shifts, knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations, current CPR/BLS certification, and physical ability to perform essential job functions. Essential Skills include clinical assessment and critical thinking, staff supervision and delegation, electronic medical record proficiency, conflict resolution, and time management under pressure.
