Join our team as an Inside Sales Agronomist where you will serve as the technical expert supporting seed sales operations across Kansas. This role combines deep agronomic knowledge with inside sales execution to help growers make informed decisions about seed selection and crop management strategies. You will build lasting customer relationships through proactive outreach, technical consultation, and responsive support that drives both customer satisfaction and revenue growth. In this position, you will manage a portfolio of agricultural accounts, conduct product presentations, and deliver tailored recommendations based on soil conditions, crop goals, and regional challenges. You will collaborate closely with field teams and product specialists to ensure customers receive accurate information and timely follow-up. Your work will directly contribute to expanding market share in the seed category while maintaining high standards of technical service. Key responsibilities include generating and qualifying sales leads through phone and digital channels, preparing customized seed recommendations based on agronomic data, maintaining accurate customer records in the CRM system, participating in team meetings and training sessions to stay current on product offerings, and supporting marketing campaigns with technical content. You will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, agriculture, or a closely related field, along with proven sales experience preferably in agricultural inputs or seed products. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of crop production practices and seed technologies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear recommendations. Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools is essential.
