Native Seed, a leader in providing high-quality native seeds for agricultural and conservation purposes, is seeking a dynamic Dealer Sales Representative for the Southwest region based in Osborne, KS. This full-time role focuses on expanding our dealer network, driving sales growth, and supporting customers in adopting sustainable seeding solutions. Key Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new dealer relationships across the Southwest territory, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of Native Seed products. Manage an existing portfolio of dealers by providing exceptional customer service, processing orders, resolving issues, and ensuring timely deliveries. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and recommend product enhancements. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through strategic planning and execution. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and agronomy experts, to deliver comprehensive support to dealers. Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, prepare sales reports, and participate in trade shows and industry events to promote Native Seed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum of 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in agriculture, seeds, or agribusiness. Proven track record of achieving sales quotas in a territory-based role. Willingness to travel extensively within the Southwest region (up to 60%), with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Strong understanding of farming practices, native seeds, and sustainable agriculture principles.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting dealer partnerships. Proficiency in sales tools like CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis. Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities and problem-solving mindset. Ability to adapt to varying customer needs and market conditions. Knowledge of agricultural trends and regional dealer dynamics is a plus.
