Job Overview
Verizon is seeking a motivated Business Sales Account Executive to join our team in Grand Island, Nebraska. This full-time sales position focuses on acquiring and retaining business customers by offering tailored telecommunications and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets within the assigned territory. Prospect and qualify new business leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals while maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities. Conduct in-depth consultations with decision-makers to understand their current technology infrastructure and future needs. Present and demonstrate Verizon's portfolio of wireless, broadband, cloud, and security solutions. Prepare and negotiate competitive proposals, contracts, and service agreements. Manage existing accounts to ensure high satisfaction, identify upsell opportunities, and reduce churn. Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, customer service, and billing to deliver seamless implementation and ongoing support. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities within the company's CRM system and provide regular forecasts and reports to leadership.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should possess at least two years of outside sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, technology, or B2B services. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for client visits across the territory. Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
