Serve as the primary onsite liaison for homeowners and property management in Castro Valley, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries efficiently while maintaining strong community relationships.
Full Description
Associa is seeking a dedicated Onsite Customer Service Representative to join our team in Castro Valley, California. In this full-time role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, residents, and board members within assigned community associations. This position requires someone who thrives in a face-to-face environment, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding service that enhances community satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities include greeting and assisting residents with inquiries, processing service requests and work orders, coordinating with vendors and maintenance teams, maintaining accurate records of communications and resolutions, preparing reports for property management and board meetings, enforcing community rules and regulations, and organizing community events and communications. You will also handle escalated issues professionally, ensure compliance with association policies, and support administrative functions such as document management and payment processing.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous customer service experience preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary for onsite duties across the community.
Essential Skills include active listening, conflict resolution, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Familiarity with property management software and HOA regulations is advantageous but not required.
