Vercel is looking for a Software Engineer, Growth to join our engineering team and help scale our developer platform. This role focuses on building features and systems that directly impact user acquisition, activation, and long-term retention. You will work closely with product, marketing, and data teams to identify growth opportunities and implement solutions that improve the developer experience and expand Vercel's reach. Key Responsibilities include designing and developing new product features aimed at improving user onboarding and engagement, implementing A/B testing frameworks and analytics instrumentation to measure impact, optimizing conversion funnels across the website and dashboard, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize growth initiatives, and maintaining high code quality standards while iterating quickly based on data and feedback. Required Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience, at least three years of professional software engineering experience, proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js, experience working with APIs and backend services, and familiarity with analytics tools and growth experimentation methodologies. Skills needed for success in this role include strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience with SQL or data analysis, knowledge of web performance optimization, and the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
