Job Overview Join Worldpay, a global leader in payment processing and technology solutions, as an Outside Sales Representative in our Payment Technology division. This full-time field-based role covers Kansas City and St. Louis, MO, where you'll prospect, negotiate, and close deals with merchants seeking innovative payment systems to streamline their operations and boost efficiency. Key Responsibilities Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and referrals targeting small to medium-sized businesses in retail, hospitality, and e-commerce sectors. Conduct compelling product demonstrations of Worldpay's payment gateways, POS systems, and security features to showcase value and ROI. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their unique payment challenges and tailoring customized solutions. Negotiate contracts, overcome objections, and close sales to meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, implementation, and customer support to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction post-sale. Maintain accurate CRM records, prepare sales forecasts, and participate in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry trends in fintech and payments. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 2-3 years proven success in outside sales, preferably in payments, SaaS, or financial services. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the Kansas City and St. Louis territories. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Skills Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts simply. Strong hunter mentality with expertise in lead generation, pipeline management, and consultative selling. Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics platforms. Analytical mindset to assess client needs and financial impacts.
