Job Overview
LEER Group, a leading manufacturer of truck caps, tonneau covers, and accessories, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee operations across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kansas. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead sales initiatives in a high-growth industry, working from our Kansas base while traveling extensively to support regional accounts. As Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding market share, fostering partnerships with distributors and dealers, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the South Central region, identifying new business opportunities and penetrating key markets. Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and motivation to meet quarterly and annual goals. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with major accounts, including truck accessory dealers, fleet operators, and automotive retailers, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to refine approaches and recommend product enhancements. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company objectives. Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior leadership. Conduct regular field visits, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote LEER products and gather feedback. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and safety standards in all sales activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a management role within the automotive, truck accessories, or manufacturing sectors. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in multi-state territories. Willingness to travel up to 60% within Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kansas.

Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities to inspire high performance. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills for closing deals and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, along with advanced Microsoft Office suite expertise. Deep knowledge of the truck cap, tonneau cover, and automotive aftermarket industry. Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting and market analysis. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
