Medical Director Services PC is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver specialized care to patients requiring advanced wound management across healthcare facilities in Saint Louis, Missouri. This full-time clinical role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating complex wounds while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote healing.
In this position, you will conduct comprehensive wound evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, perform debridement procedures, and manage advanced wound therapies including negative pressure wound therapy and specialized dressings. You will monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols based on clinical response, educate patients and families on wound prevention and self-care strategies, and maintain detailed documentation to ensure continuity of care across the healthcare continuum.
Candidates must hold current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Missouri with national board certification, along with wound care certification or equivalent clinical experience in wound management. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in wound care, acute care, or long-term care settings is required. Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency with electronic health records, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this collaborative environment.
