Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans via telehealth. Prescribe and manage medications, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatments as needed. Conduct follow-up appointments, crisis interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and primary care providers. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and wellness strategies. Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry from an accredited program. Current APRN licensure as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Washington State. Active DEA registration and prescriptive authority in WA. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric care, preferably in telehealth settings. Must reside in Washington State due to state licensing requirements. Skills Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with expertise in DSM-5 criteria. Proficiency in telehealth platforms and electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with diverse patient populations. Ability to manage high-stress situations and provide crisis intervention. Commitment to evidence-based practices and cultural competence in mental health care. Solid knowledge of psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological interventions.
