Job Overview
Aisle & Abroad is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, focusing on hotel bookings. This full-time, work-from-home position offers the flexibility to assist global travelers from anywhere, helping them find the perfect accommodations while delivering outstanding service. As a key player in our customer support operations, you'll handle inquiries, process bookings, and resolve issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and social media regarding hotel availability, pricing, and booking details. Manage the end-to-end booking process, including confirming reservations, making modifications, and processing cancellations in coordination with hotel partners. Troubleshoot common issues such as payment discrepancies, booking errors, or special requests, escalating complex cases to senior support when necessary. Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM system, ensuring all interactions are logged for quality assurance and follow-up. Upsell additional services like travel insurance or room upgrades to enhance the customer experience and meet sales targets. Collaborate with the operations team to provide feedback on hotel partner performance and suggest improvements. Stay updated on industry trends, hotel policies, and travel regulations to offer informed advice.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or business preferred. At least 1-2 years of customer service experience, ideally in travel, hospitality, or booking services. Proven track record of handling high-volume inquiries in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical proficiency with booking software, CRM tools like Zendesk or Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; multilingual abilities are a plus.
