Wisconsin Kenworth in York, Nebraska is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Truck Sales Manager to lead our commercial truck sales operations. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and delivering exceptional customer service to businesses in the transportation and logistics sectors. The Truck Sales Manager will oversee daily sales activities, mentor the sales team, and develop strategic initiatives to increase market share in a competitive industry.
Key Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets, managing and coaching a team of sales representatives to improve performance and close rates, building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and fleet customers, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, preparing and presenting detailed sales reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations, and collaborating with service and parts departments to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Required Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience in commercial truck or heavy equipment sales, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational abilities and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required, and CDL is preferred.
