Key Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Sales Executive, you will identify and pursue high-value opportunities with large financial institutions, corporations, and asset managers. Your primary duties include conducting thorough needs assessments, delivering compelling product demonstrations, crafting customized proposals, and negotiating complex contracts to close multimillion-dollar deals. You will collaborate closely with sales engineers, product specialists, and customer success teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and client satisfaction post-sale. Additionally, maintaining a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools, attending industry conferences, and providing market intelligence to inform product strategy will be essential to achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, coupled with at least 5-7 years of proven enterprise sales experience, preferably in financial technology, SaaS, or capital markets software. A track record of consistently meeting or surpassing sales quotas in a B2B environment is required, along with deep knowledge of financial services industry challenges such as asset management, fund administration, and regulatory compliance. Experience selling to C-suite executives and navigating long sales cycles is critical.
Skills
Success in this role demands exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions in business terms. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, consultative selling methodologies, and strategic account planning is essential. Strong analytical abilities for forecasting and pipeline management, combined with resilience, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset, will set you apart. Technical aptitude to grasp SS&C's software portfolio quickly, along with networking prowess in the fintech ecosystem, is highly valued.
