Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Telemetry unit in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on cardiac monitoring and acute care services.
As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions requiring continuous monitoring. Your daily responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms, documenting patient progress, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams, educating patients and families about treatment plans, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess an active Illinois Registered Nurse license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred, and current BLS and ACLS certifications. Previous experience in telemetry, cardiac care, or acute care settings is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key skills required include advanced cardiac life support, patient assessment, medication administration, electronic health records management, critical thinking, and teamwork.
