Document patient progress meticulously using electronic health records, educate patients and families on treatment plans, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards. Participate in shift handoffs, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes. Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois without restrictions. Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience, with preference for ICU or critical care settings. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with commitment to pursue BSN considered. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification a plus. Skills: Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient advocacy and team collaboration. Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation. Tech-savvy with electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Epic.
