AmeriPro Roofing is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team in McPherson, Kansas. In this field-based role, you will actively prospect and engage homeowners and businesses in need of roofing services, building lasting relationships and delivering tailored solutions that protect their properties. Key Responsibilities include identifying potential customers through door-to-door canvassing, community networking, and lead generation activities; conducting detailed property assessments to evaluate roofing needs; presenting customized product recommendations and pricing proposals; negotiating contracts and closing sales; maintaining accurate records of customer interactions in our CRM system; collaborating with installation teams to ensure seamless project handoffs; and following up with prospects to nurture relationships and generate referrals. Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; proven sales experience preferably in home services or construction industries; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and possess basic technology proficiency for reporting and customer management. Essential Skills encompass consultative selling techniques, lead generation and cold calling expertise, customer relationship management, negotiation and closing proficiency, time management and self-motivation, and the ability to read and interpret roofing specifications and blueprints.
