Resurrection Medical Center seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit in Chicago, Illinois. As a Telemetry RN, you will continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for patients requiring close observation, interpret ECG readings, and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition. Your responsibilities include administering medications, performing comprehensive patient assessments, documenting care accurately, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will also educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, treatment protocols, and discharge instructions while maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice. Candidates must possess an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois, with previous telemetry or cardiac care experience strongly preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is desired, though Associate Degree Nurses with relevant experience will be considered. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with strong critical thinking abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
