Full Description

Farmers Cooperative is seeking a dedicated Agronomy Sales Associate to join our team in Geneva, Nebraska. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to combine agricultural expertise with relationship-building skills in a dynamic sales environment focused on supporting local farming communities. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for farmers and agricultural producers throughout the region. Your daily responsibilities include conducting field visits to assess crop conditions, soil health, and pest pressures, then recommending appropriate seed varieties, fertilizers, crop protection products, and agronomic practices tailored to each customer's specific needs. You will develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with growers by providing ongoing agronomic support, sharing the latest research findings, and helping them optimize yields and profitability. Additional duties include preparing customized sales proposals, managing customer accounts, coordinating product deliveries, and staying current with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes affecting agriculture. To succeed in this position, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, agriculture, or a related field, along with proven sales experience preferably within the agricultural sector. Strong knowledge of crop production practices, soil science, and pest management is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently in field conditions, and proficiency with farm management software and digital tools. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory are required. Farmers Cooperative offers a supportive team environment where your contributions directly impact local agricultural communities. Team members enjoy competitive compensation, comprehensive health and retirement benefits, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to work with cutting-edge agricultural technologies. The cooperative is committed to employee growth, providing pathways for advancement into senior sales, territory management, or agronomy specialist roles. Join us and help shape the future of farming while building a rewarding career in agricultural sales.
