Join Amazon Web Services as a Software Development Engineer in Data Center Controls Automation Software Engineering. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain sophisticated automation software that powers AWS data center operations, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across our global infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, operations specialists, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing control systems for data center equipment, writing clean and efficient code in multiple programming languages, and integrating new automation features into existing platforms. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex system issues, optimize performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and best practices. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in software development and automation.
