Floyd's Truck Center Inc. is seeking an experienced Truck Sales Manager to lead our dynamic sales team in Grand Island, Nebraska. This full-time leadership role is responsible for driving revenue performance, coaching sales professionals, and building lasting customer relationships in the commercial truck industry.
In this position, the Truck Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations, set performance targets, and implement strategies to exceed monthly and quarterly goals. The manager will recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives while monitoring individual and team metrics to ensure consistent achievement. Building strong relationships with fleet customers, owner-operators, and business accounts will be essential, along with maintaining an expert understanding of truck models, financing options, and market trends.
Key responsibilities include conducting regular sales meetings, analyzing competitive activity, managing inventory turnover, and collaborating with service and parts departments to deliver complete customer solutions. The role also involves preparing sales forecasts, managing the department budget, and representing the dealership at industry events and community activities.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of commercial truck or heavy equipment sales experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or management capacity. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is required, along with strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications is essential.
