We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Doctors Hospital, part of Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. You will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare professionals to stabilize patients, administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and coordinate care plans. The role requires quick decision-making, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while providing compassionate support to patients and families during critical moments. To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas and possess an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Prior emergency department or critical care nursing experience is highly preferred. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required, and additional certifications such as CEN or TNCC are advantageous.
