In this fully remote position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare clients, answering questions about benefits, claims, and services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and empathy. Your role will directly impact patient satisfaction by ensuring timely, accurate resolutions to their concerns in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities include handling a high volume of inbound calls, emails, and chat interactions from patients and healthcare providers, verifying patient information and eligibility, explaining healthcare benefits and coverage details, processing claims and appeals, and documenting all interactions accurately in company systems. You will also collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues, maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, and continuously seek ways to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction scores. Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of customer service experience preferably in healthcare or insurance, strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must have a dedicated, quiet workspace with reliable high-speed internet and be comfortable working independently in a remote setting. Essential Skills for success in this role include active listening, problem-solving abilities, empathy, attention to detail, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, customer relationship management software, and healthcare terminology is highly valued. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
