Livestock Nutrition Center LLC is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our team in Lexington, Nebraska. This full-time position focuses on promoting premium livestock nutrition products and building long-term relationships with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses across the region. The Sales Consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients optimize animal health and productivity through customized feed solutions and nutritional programs.
Key Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the livestock and agricultural sectors, conducting farm visits to assess client needs, and recommending appropriate nutrition products and feeding strategies. The role involves preparing and delivering sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activities. Additional duties include staying informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting animal nutrition, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely product delivery.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, or business preferred. Candidates should have proven sales experience, preferably within the agricultural or livestock industry, along with strong knowledge of animal nutrition and feed products. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory are essential.
