Comcast is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer specializing in Cyber Risk and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) to support enterprise sales across Kansas. This senior technical role combines deep cybersecurity expertise with consultative selling to help organizations strengthen their security posture and meet regulatory requirements. The Principal Sales Engineer will serve as the primary technical advisor during complex sales cycles, translating advanced risk-management capabilities into clear business outcomes for C-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include leading technical discovery sessions, conducting risk assessments, and architecting tailored GRC solutions that align with client compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. You will collaborate closely with account executives to develop winning proposals, deliver high-impact product demonstrations, and provide post-sale technical guidance that ensures successful implementation and long-term customer success. Additional duties involve creating compelling proof-of-concept environments, mentoring junior engineers, and representing Comcast at industry events and webinars.
Required Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, along with eight or more years of experience in cybersecurity sales engineering or enterprise risk management. Candidates must possess hands-on knowledge of GRC platforms, vulnerability management tools, and regulatory frameworks. Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential.
Preferred Skills encompass experience with cloud security architectures, familiarity with automation and orchestration tools, and prior success selling into highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government. Professional certifications including CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly valued.
