Join our dynamic retail team at DICK'S Sporting Goods in Grand Island, Nebraska as a part-time Sales Associate in the Footwear department. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences by assisting shoppers in selecting appropriate footwear based on their specific needs, activities, and preferences. You will maintain organized and well-stocked product displays, process transactions accurately, and handle merchandise returns following company policies. Additional duties include inventory management, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with team members to achieve department sales targets and performance goals. To succeed in this role, candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine enthusiasm for helping others. Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
