Crash Champions is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is essential in providing exceptional support to customers throughout their vehicle repair journey, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience from initial contact through completion. The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact, helping clients understand repair processes, timelines, and insurance procedures while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities include answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner, scheduling appointments and coordinating repair timelines, providing updates on vehicle status and repair progress, assisting customers with insurance documentation and claims processes, addressing concerns and resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions, collaborating with technicians and management to ensure seamless service delivery, and following up with customers after service completion to gather feedback.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous customer service experience preferably in the automotive or insurance industry, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset.
Essential Skills include active listening and problem-solving abilities, empathy and patience when handling customer concerns, time management and organizational skills, conflict resolution techniques, and attention to detail for accurate documentation. Familiarity with auto repair terminology is a plus.
