Job Overview Fronius USA is seeking a dynamic Welding Sales Representative to join our team in Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our state-of-the-art welding equipment and solutions to a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, automotive, and fabrication. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service while identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence throughout the region. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets within the assigned territory. Identify, qualify, and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, and industry events to generate new leads and expand the client base. Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions to showcase the features and benefits of Fronius welding solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers by providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, technical support, and engineering to deliver customized solutions that meet client specifications. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation in a timely manner. Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and professional events to increase brand visibility and generate leads. Required Qualifications A minimum of three years of proven sales experience, preferably within the welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing sectors. Strong technical understanding of welding processes, equipment, and applications is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Illinois territory. Skills Technical knowledge of welding technologies and applications. Strong consultative selling and relationship-building abilities. Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to analyze market data and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
