Full Description

As a Customer Success Consultant at Cengage, you will serve as the primary point of contact for educational institutions and learners utilizing our digital learning solutions. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Utah while helping customers maximize the value of their Cengage products and services. You will develop deep relationships with key stakeholders, understand their unique needs, and provide strategic recommendations that drive adoption and success. Your key responsibilities include onboarding new customers, conducting regular check-ins and training sessions, analyzing usage data to identify opportunities for improvement, and resolving technical or service-related issues promptly. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and contribute feedback that influences future product development. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records in our CRM system, prepare performance reports, and participate in team meetings to share best practices. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, business, or a related field, along with proven customer service experience preferably in edtech or SaaS environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms is essential. Prior experience supporting educational institutions or working with learning management systems is highly preferred. Key skills for success in this role include relationship management, active listening, data analysis, time management, and adaptability. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of responsiveness and professionalism. The ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms and manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously is critical.
