Full Description
LaFontaine Lincoln in Grand Rapids is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers looking to purchase new and pre-owned Lincoln vehicles. You will guide clients through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring each customer receives personalized attention and expert advice tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities include greeting and assisting walk-in and phone customers, conducting vehicle test drives, presenting product features and financing options, negotiating deals, and completing all necessary paperwork to close sales. You will maintain strong product knowledge of current Lincoln models and competitive vehicles, follow up with leads through our CRM system, and build lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
Required Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous sales experience preferably in automotive retail, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks. Candidates should be comfortable working weekends and evenings to meet customer schedules.
Skills necessary for success include outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, strong negotiation and closing skills, self-motivation with a results-driven mindset, proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, and excellent time management. You should demonstrate a genuine passion for automobiles and delivering world-class customer service.
