Urgent Team Management is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care at our urgent care facility in Gallatin, Tennessee. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions for patients across all age groups. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and timely medical services in a supportive clinical setting. In this role, you will conduct thorough patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and order diagnostic tests including laboratory work and imaging studies. You will interpret test results, prescribe medications, and develop individualized treatment plans while educating patients on preventive care and wellness strategies. Additional responsibilities include suturing wounds, splinting injuries, managing minor procedures, and maintaining accurate electronic health records to support continuity of care. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. The ideal candidate must hold current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Tennessee, along with national certification from an accredited board. A minimum of two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine is preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency with electronic health record systems, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships with the healthcare team.
