In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and performance of our software solutions. As a key contributor to our quality assurance processes, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality applications that meet client needs in defense, intelligence, and government sectors. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using modern testing tools and frameworks. Collaborate with software engineers to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, enabling continuous integration and deployment. Perform exploratory testing, regression testing, and performance testing to identify defects early in the development cycle. Analyze test results, report bugs via issue tracking systems, and work closely with the team to resolve them. Contribute to test planning, strategy, and documentation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Mentor junior team members on best practices in test automation and agile methodologies. Participate in code reviews for test code and production code to uphold coding standards. Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and recommend improvements to testing processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on test automation. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript. Experience with testing frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or pytest. Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and test-driven development (TDD). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Skills Strong automation scripting abilities with tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow for behavior-driven development. Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI. Proficiency in database querying with SQL for backend validation. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for testing distributed systems. Soft skills including effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
