Job Overview Platinum Supplemental Insurance is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Osborne, KS. In this full-time field-based role, you will promote and sell supplemental insurance products, such as cancer, accident, and critical illness coverage, directly to businesses, associations, and individuals. As a key player in our sales force, you'll leverage your entrepreneurial spirit to generate leads, build lasting client relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets while providing essential protection to customers. Key Responsibilities Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking events, door-to-door visits, and community outreach in the Osborne area. Conduct informative presentations and consultations to educate potential clients on the benefits of our supplemental insurance plans. Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating terms, and ensuring seamless policy enrollment. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress using our CRM system. Build and nurture long-term relationships with policyholders to drive renewals, referrals, and repeat business. Collaborate with regional managers to develop targeted sales strategies and participate in ongoing training to stay ahead of industry trends. Represent Platinum Supplemental Insurance professionally at trade shows, fairs, and local events to expand our market presence. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for field travel within Kansas. Previous sales experience, ideally in insurance, financial services, or B2B environments, is highly desirable. Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse clients effectively. Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities with a results-driven mindset. Persuasive negotiation and closing techniques to meet and exceed quotas. Organizational prowess for managing a dynamic schedule and CRM data. Resilience and self-motivation to thrive in an independent, field-based role.
