CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in the PST time zone. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our health plan members by addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities
You will handle inbound calls, chats, and emails from members seeking assistance with health insurance benefits, claims, prescriptions, and general account information. Responsibilities include actively listening to customer needs, providing clear and empathetic responses, troubleshooting problems, and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams. You will document interactions accurately in our CRM system, meet performance metrics such as average handle time and first-call resolution, and contribute to quality assurance initiatives. Additionally, you will stay updated on CVS Health products, policies, and procedures to deliver accurate guidance while promoting customer loyalty through exceptional service.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least one year of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting preferred. You must be able to work a flexible schedule within PST hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Proficiency in computer systems and typing speed of at least 35 WPM are essential. Candidates should reside in the United States and be authorized to work without sponsorship.
Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for conveying complex information simply and compassionately. You need excellent problem-solving abilities, active listening, and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Technical proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software, Microsoft Office, and remote collaboration tools is required. Knowledge of healthcare terminology, insurance processes, or bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) are advantageous.
