Job Overview Rivercity Insurance & Financial Services, a trusted leader in providing comprehensive insurance and financial solutions, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Grand Island, Nebraska. In this pivotal full-time role, you will oversee sales operations, mentor a high-performing team, and spearhead strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets while delivering exceptional value to clients seeking auto, home, life, health, and financial planning services. Key Responsibilities You will develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the local market, fostering strong relationships with clients and partners to drive business growth. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives, setting clear performance goals and providing ongoing training to enhance their skills in product knowledge and closing techniques. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities for expansion and optimization, regularly reporting insights to senior leadership. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale. Collaborate with underwriting and customer service teams to streamline processes and resolve issues promptly, while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations governing insurance sales. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of progressive sales experience in insurance or financial services, including 2+ years in a supervisory role. Possession of a valid Nebraska insurance producer license (or ability to obtain within 30 days) is essential; property & casualty and life & health licenses preferred. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environment, with strong understanding of insurance products and financial planning principles. Skills Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities to inspire and develop top talent. Advanced communication and negotiation skills for client interactions and presentations. Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, along with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis. Strategic thinking and problem-solving to adapt to market changes.
