Resurrection Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Telemetry unit in Chicago. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment where cardiac monitoring is essential. As a Registered Nurse in the Acute Telemetry unit, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition. The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. You will also educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans while maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records. Candidates must hold an active Illinois Registered Nurse license and possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing. A minimum of one year of acute care or telemetry nursing experience is preferred, along with current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications. Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and arrhythmia interpretation is essential.
