Job Overview: Aramark, a global leader in food services, facilities management, and event hospitality, is seeking a talented Director of Event Sales to join our team in Lisle, Illinois. In this pivotal leadership role, you will spearhead the sales efforts for event services, including corporate events, weddings, sports venues, and conventions, driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships within the dynamic hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for event services. Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to optimize results. Prospect and cultivate relationships with key clients, including corporate planners, event organizers, and venue partners, to secure lucrative contracts. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution, from proposal development to post-event analysis. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive sales experience in events, hospitality, or food services, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales quotas in a B2B environment. Strong understanding of event planning, catering, and venue management dynamics.
