Job Overview
GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a dedicated Inbound Customer Service Agent to join our Bodewell team. This full-time remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Tennessee, delivering top-tier support to customers inquiring about our innovative appliances. As a key player in our customer experience team, you'll assist with product questions, troubleshooting, orders, and more, contributing to our mission of enhancing everyday living through reliable home solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound customer calls promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries about GE Appliances products including refrigerators, washers, ovens, and other home essentials. Provide accurate information on product features, warranties, installation, and maintenance while troubleshooting common issues over the phone. Process orders, returns, exchanges, and schedule service appointments using our CRM systems. Document all interactions in detail to ensure seamless follow-up and maintain high customer satisfaction scores. Escalate complex issues to specialized teams as needed and collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer concerns efficiently. Adhere to call handling protocols, quality standards, and performance metrics to support our commitment to excellence.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment handling inbound calls. Proficiency in English with excellent verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus. Familiarity with computer systems, including typing speed of at least 35 WPM. Availability for full-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a background check.
