Resurrection Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Telemetry unit in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time nursing position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to acute medical needs in a fast-paced hospital environment dedicated to clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities include continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, comprehensive patient assessment, medication administration, care plan development, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Nurses will document patient status, respond to cardiac emergencies, educate patients and families on health conditions, and maintain compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications include an active Illinois Registered Nurse license, Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited program, current Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications, and a minimum of one year telemetry or acute care nursing experience. Essential Skills include proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, strong clinical assessment abilities, excellent communication and teamwork capabilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in high-pressure situations. Candidates should demonstrate compassion, critical thinking skills, and commitment to evidence-based nursing practice.
