OnPoint Medical Group seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality primary and acute care to children and adolescents at our Lone Tree, Colorado clinic.

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Lone Tree, Colorado. This full-time clinical position focuses on providing comprehensive pediatric care to patients from infancy through adolescence in a supportive outpatient environment. The role combines direct patient care with collaborative practice alongside physicians and clinical staff to ensure optimal health outcomes for young patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities include conducting thorough pediatric health assessments and physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common childhood illnesses and injuries, managing chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, and diabetes, administering vaccinations and performing routine well-child visits, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications within scope of practice, providing anticipatory guidance on nutrition, development, and safety, coordinating care with specialists when needed, maintaining accurate electronic health records, and educating families on preventive health measures and treatment plans.
Required Qualifications include current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Colorado, national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, minimum of two years of direct pediatric clinical experience, current BLS and PALS certification, and strong knowledge of pediatric growth, development, and evidence-based treatment guidelines. Candidates must demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Skills include proficiency in electronic medical records systems, strong diagnostic and clinical reasoning abilities, excellent interpersonal and family-centered communication, time management and organizational skills, cultural competence, and the capacity to handle high patient volumes while maintaining quality care standards. Experience with telehealth platforms is preferred.
