Native Seed is seeking an Inside Sales Agronomist to join our team in Osborne, Kansas. This role combines deep agronomic expertise with inside sales responsibilities to support farmers and agricultural professionals across the region. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor while actively contributing to revenue growth through strategic product recommendations and relationship management. In this position, you will consult with customers on seed selection, crop management practices, and agronomic solutions tailored to their specific soil conditions and production goals. You will manage inbound and outbound sales calls, process orders, provide product education, and follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential, as is staying current on industry trends, seed technologies, and competitive offerings. You will also collaborate with field sales representatives and the product development team to ensure customer feedback informs business decisions. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in agronomy, crop science, agriculture, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in agricultural sales or technical support. Strong knowledge of seed products, crop production systems, and pest management is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences are essential. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits or industry events are also necessary.
