Job Overview Global Payments is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in Chicago, Illinois. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business clients while expanding relationships with existing customers across the greater Chicago metropolitan area. As a key member of our sales organization, you will represent our comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions to businesses of all sizes. Key Responsibilities Prospect and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and market research to build a robust pipeline of sales opportunities. Conduct in-person meetings and product demonstrations to showcase payment solutions tailored to each client's unique business needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth. Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system. Collaborate with internal teams including implementation specialists and customer support to ensure smooth onboarding experiences for new clients. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while contributing to team goals and company revenue objectives. Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of outside sales experience in B2B environments. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily field travel throughout the Chicago area. Previous experience in financial services, payment processing, or technology sales is highly desirable. Skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for building rapport with diverse clients. Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of meeting sales quotas are required. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary, along with excellent time management and organizational capabilities. Candidates should demonstrate resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
