Job Overview
Lendbuzz, a leading fintech company revolutionizing auto financing through data-driven lending solutions, is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to spearhead sales operations across Illinois and Indiana. In this pivotal full-time role, you will drive revenue growth, cultivate strategic partnerships with auto dealers and financial institutions, and expand our market presence in the Midwest region. As Sales Director, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and play a key role in scaling our innovative loan origination platform that leverages alternative data for faster, fairer lending decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to IL and IN markets, setting and surpassing quarterly and annual revenue targets. Lead a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure consistent results. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealerships, lenders, and industry partners, to generate new business opportunities. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with company goals and launch targeted campaigns. Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports to senior leadership. Represent Lendbuzz at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and secure deals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive sales experience in fintech, financial services, or automotive lending, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding multimillion-dollar sales targets in regional markets. Deep knowledge of the Midwest auto finance landscape, including regulations and dealer networks. Experience managing sales teams of 5+ members and implementing CRM systems like Salesforce.
