Job Overview ACS Auto Club Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lockport, Illinois. This role is essential in delivering outstanding member experiences by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing accurate information about our automotive, travel, and insurance services. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy. Assist members with account inquiries, policy updates, billing questions, and service requests. Provide accurate information about Auto Club products including roadside assistance, insurance, and travel services. Process membership applications and renewals while maintaining data accuracy in company systems. Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary. Document all interactions thoroughly in the customer relationship management system. Meet established performance metrics for call handling time, quality, and customer satisfaction scores. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Stay current with product knowledge, policies, and procedures through ongoing training. Support promotional campaigns and cross-sell additional services when appropriate opportunities arise. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous customer service experience in a call center or office environment is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Basic computer proficiency with ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously. Ability to work in a structured, metrics-driven environment. Must be able to maintain composure during challenging customer interactions. Availability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends may be required.
